We started this site out of frustration — and curiosity.
After years of reaching for products with ingredient lists we couldn՚t pronounce, one of our founders had a reaction that sent her down a rabbit hole of research into what was actually in her shampoo. What she found changed everything. That research became conversations, conversations became a community, and that community became what you see here today.
We are a small, independent team of writers, researchers, and hair enthusiasts who share a single conviction: that healthier hair starts with better information. None of us are scientists by training — but we read the science obsessively, consult with trichologists and cosmetic chemists, and translate what we learn into practical, honest guidance that anyone can use.
We have no investors to satisfy and no corporate agenda to maintain. Every product we recommend has been tested or thoroughly researched. Every brand we feature has earned its place through performance, not through advertising spend. If something doesn՚t work, we say so — clearly and without apology.
