Laser Hair Removal Systems At Clinic - IPL (590-1200 nm)

Strictly speaking IPL is a light therapy and not a real Laser. IPL have a shorter wavelength than most lasers and are not as effective at targeting the deeper, thicker hair. They are more successful when used to remove fine, thin hairs with shallow roots. IPL can deliver hundreds of wavelengths in each burst of light with gentle and non-invasive, however, it can not isolate the exact wavelength of light. So IPL can not necessary to accurately and safely destroy the hair follicle. Although some clinical report that IPL can give the better results for darker skin than lasers, but it may cause burning and result in scarring if not very skilfully handled. It is not recommended to using in skin type IV, V, VI.

The Popular IPL Machine At Clinic & Home

One of the biggest reasons why IPL are so popular is the lower cost. The average price of per session is about half of laser hair removal. However, you will need about double sessions to get the results and to maintain it than you would with lasers. Perhaps, IPL is a good opt if you have the light skin and only need to reduce the density of hairs. The less sessions can meet for you and the total cost of treatment is cheap.
